Oiden Tour
The name “Oiden” is Japanese. In the dialect of Aichi, the province where our partner Keiko Sawayama was born, it means “come” in a friendly, informal way. “Alto Adige ni oiden! Dolomiti ni oiden!”, “Come to South Tyrol! Come to the Dolomites!” It is our invitation and also our wish for you.

Keiko Sawayama – I was born in Toyohashi, Aichi, and I am a Japanese citizen. During my first trek in the Dolomites in 2002, I was fascinated by the nature of this region and the beauty of these mountains. Since then, I have been going to the mountains both in summer and winter, and this passion led me to work in tourism. After graduating in Japan, I obtained the qualification of Technical Director for travel agencies and the certification as a Tour Leader. I would like to introduce the Dolomites and South Tyrol-Südtirol to my fellow Japanese citizens. The tours we offer on this website have been selected from among the most interesting and spectacular routes that I have personally travelled.
Current position: Tourism programme development and tour leader
Paolo Gelmo – I have travelled extensively throughout my life and have spent long periods abroad, gaining a wide range of experiences and working in very different fields, including journalism and photography. I have visited around forty countries across four continents and I am an attentive and curious traveller. I enjoy travelling in a respectful way and dislike “hit-and-run” tourism; I would like some of this philosophy to be reflected in the tours and excursions we offer. I am also a licensed tour guide and tour leader authorised by the Province of Bolzano.
