Itinerary

Departure from Cortina d'Ampezzo towards Falzarego Pass (2,117 m / 6,946 ft), leaving the splendid Ampezzo Valley. Stopping at the Falzarego Pass is a must; it was the theatre of bloody battles during the First World War, and its trenches are a splendid testimony of this. If you want you can go up with the cable car to the top of the Lagazuoi (2,835 m / 9,301 ft), take a walk at high altitude and admire the Dolomites at 360°.

One cannot fail to stop at the following Valparola Pass (2,168 m / 7,113 ft), where you can rediscover a magical place, set between the Dolomite peaks. After a short photo stop at La Villa, a village set in a sunny basin, you go up towards Erbe Pass (1,987 m / 6,519 ft), located between the jagged rocks of Sass de Putia and the beautiful pastures of Luson. Lunch break in a typical restaurant.

Once you have crossed the pass, you will find the enchanting Funes Valley. The first village is the charming Santa Maddalena, which deserves two stops to take memorable photos that have become known all over the world: the first next to a small church, erected in a meadow; the second on the other side of the village, after a short climb. The two images have a common background: the Odle Group with its extraordinary natural stage. Then, you descend to the Eisack Valley and the tour ends in Bolzano.

Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.
