Trekking
Level 2: Keen walkers (good predisposition and habit of walking)
Difficulty: Itinerary with ups and downs and some steep sections.
2nd day: Length 9 km / 6 miles;  duration 3 - 3,5 hours;  elevation ↑↓ 425 m / 1,394 ft
3rd day: Length 12 km / 7 miles;  duration 4 - 4,5 hours;  elevation ↑↓ 490 m / 1,608 ft
4th day: Length 9,5 km / 6 miles;  duration 3,5 - 4 hours;  elevation ↑↓ 400 m / 1,312 ft

Clothing and Equipment
Heavy equipment: Trekking boots, waterproof jacket (Gore-Tex or similar), fleece or sweater (layering system), hat and gloves, rucksack, thermos bottle, extendable trekking poles, sunglasses and sunscreen. Recommended: trekking pants, change of underclothes, rain cape.
The clothing indicated above depends on the season, but it is wise to consider the climate in the high mountains and the possible changes in weather conditions. (See also Technical Advice)

Itinerary

Departure and arrival: Cortina d'Ampezzo (Transfer on request)

Day 1: Arrival in Cortina d'Ampezzo
Independent arrival in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a holiday destination of Italian and foreign personalities, also known as "the pearl of the Dolomites". The Ampezzo valley, in the center of the Dolomites, is renowned throughout the world and is an excellent starting point for excursions throughout the area, both in summer and in winter. Overnight at a hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Day 2: Trekking to the alpine huts Averau, Nuvolau and to the Cinque Torri
Departure for the Falzarego Pass (2,117 m /6,946 ft). The trek to the Averau (2,413 m / 7,917 ft) starts through the woods and passes by the small alpine Lake of Limedes. The view on the Tofane is spectacular. But even more amazing is the 360° panorama that awaits you at the Rifugio Nuvolau (2,575 m / 8,448 ft), the oldest in the Dolomites: you can admire the Tofane, the Croda da Lago, the Cristallo, the Sorapis, the Antelao, the Civetta and the Marmolada. From here the path goes downhill, towards the Cinque Torri. Just below the towers is the WWI Open Air Museum, with trenches, outposts and small buildings. Lunch in the hut. Transfer to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Overnight at a hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Duration of the walk: 3,5 - 4 hours; elevation: ↑ 560 m / 1,837 ft ↓ 410 m / 1,345 ft; length: 9 km / 6 miles

Day 3: Trekking in the Ladin Dolomites
Departure from Cortina; in a few minutes you arrive at Fiames, from where a jeep leaves for Malga Ra Stua (1,668 m / 5,472 ft). Once you reach the hut, the trekking begins on an easy mule track. You pass by Lake Rudo and then by the Rifugio Fodara Vedla (1,966 m / 6,450 ft). Along the way the view of the Croda Rossa accompanies us. We catch our breath and set off along the path that climbs towards the Rifugio Senes (2,126 m / 6,975 ft). All around are the spectacular Dolomite peaks of the Croda Rossa, Croda del Becco and Monte Lavinores. Lunch break at an alpine hut. The descent is along the Val Salada until you return to Ra Stua; from here return to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Overnight at a hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Duration of the walk: 4 - 4,5 hours; elevation: ↑↓ 490 m / 1,608 ft;  length: 12 km / 7 miles

Day 4: Lake Misurina and the Three Peaks of Lavaredo (Tre Cime)
Departure towards the Rifugio Auronzo (2,320 m / 7,611 ft). Before going up to the mountain hut, "photo stop" at Lake Misurina. The walk of approximately 3,5 hours offers the opportunity to see up close this temple of nature. The itinerary also includes the Rifugio Locatelli (2,405 m / 7,890 ft), located in a particular privileged position to admire the Three Peaks. Packed lunch.
To return to the Rifugio Auronzo continue going round the Three Peaks. At the Auronzo the car is waiting for you to return to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Overnight at a hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Duration of the walk: 3,5 - 4 hours; elevation: ↑↓ 400 m / 1,312 ft;   length: 9,5 km / 6 miles

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast independent departure of the participants.

Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.

Cancellation per Multi day tour
Cancellation requests must be sent by post, fax or e-mail and are subject to the following penalties:
- 10% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made up to 31 days prior to tour date;
- 30% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to tour date;
- 50% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 14 and 8 days prior to tour date;
- 100% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made within 7 days prior to tour date.
