Clothing and Equipment
Light equipment: the minimum necessary or useful for a walk or a trip in the mountains: a pullover or anorak, comfortable shoes (sneakers or trekking), hat and sunglasses. If the trip is planned for the colder seasons, it is recommended to have heavier clothing with woollen hat and gloves. Keep also in mind that in the high mountains it can be cold even in summer and sudden changes in weather conditions are possible.

Itinerary
Departure from Bolzano towards Lake Braies, located under the imposing rock wall of the Croda del Becco, and famous for the intense blue color of the clear water and for the television series “Un passo dal cielo” ("A step from the sky"). The tour continues along the lakes of Dobbiaco first and then of Misurina, with the imposing Three Peaks of Lavaredo standing out in the background.
After reaching Cortina d'Ampezzo, also known as the "Pearl of the Dolomites", you can take a pleasant walk along its shopping street. Then it is the turn of the Falzarego Pass (2,117 m /6,946 ft): its trenches are the testimony of bloody battles during the First World War. If you want you can go up with the cable car to the top of the Lagazuoi (2,835 m / 9,301 ft) and take a walk at high altitude.
After lunch, you will travel through the splendid and suggestive Valparola Pass (2,168 m / 7,113 ft), and arrive in Corvara, at the foot of Mount Sassongher, a village already renowned in the eighteenth century for its splendid location for climbers and mountaineers. At this point you go up the bends of the Gardena Pass (2,136 m / 7,008 ft), a popular destination for sportsmen and one of the historic Dolomite passes of the Giro d'Italia. Here begins, with a wild stretch, the most famous valley of the area: the Gardena Valley.
Finally, Ortisei merits a stop for a walk in the town center and for some woodwork shopping, objects of which it boasts a long and recognized tradition. An excellent conclusion to a splendid day before returning to Bolzano.

Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent by post, fax or e-mail and are subject to the following penalties:
- No penalty for cancellations made up to 11 days prior to tour date;
- 25% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 10 and 7 days prior to tour date;
- 50% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 6 and 4 days prior to tour date;
- 100% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made within 3 days prior to tour date.
