Itinerary
San Genesio (approx. 1,000 m / 3,281 ft) is a village located on a sunny plateau above Bolzano. Many of its inhabitants live not only in the village but also still on isolated farms. This deep-rooted presence of farmers guarantees that South Tyrol has such well-kept landscapes and that many traditions have not been lost.
So today you will have the opportunity to learn how to cook some typical South Tyrolean dishes, such as canederli (dumplings), spätzle (spinach gnocchi,) gulash (beef stew) and apple strudel, with the help of our friendly farmer Mathilde. With her kind ways and the warm hospitality on her farm, she will make this experience truly unforgettable. It will then be fun and suggestive to sit at the table with her and enjoy the dishes you have cooked.
Returning to Bolzano by car, you will be able to admire some beautiful views of the city with the Dolomites as a backdrop.
Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.
If you wish, in the afternoon it is possible to have a walk on the plateau of San Genesio or take a horse-drawn carriage. Please feel free to contact us

Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent by post, fax or e-mail and are subject to the following penalties:
- No penalty for cancellations made up to 11 days prior to tour date;
- 25% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 10 and 7 days prior to tour date;
- 50% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 6 and 4 days prior to tour date;
- 100% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made within 3 days prior to tour date.
