Clothing and Equipment
Medium equipment: Hiking shoes, windproof jacket (preferably waterproof), fleece or light sweater, small rucksack with flask or water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Recommended: extendable trekking poles.
If the trip is planned in the colder seasons, it is recommended to have heavier clothing, woollen hat, and gloves with you. Keep also in mind that in the high mountains it can be cold even in summer and sudden changes in weather conditions are possible.

Itinerary
A little north of Bolzano you take the Gardena Valley and go up until Ortisei. From the center of the town you can take the cable car up to the Alpe di Siusi, the largest plateau in Europe, at an altitude of 2,000 m / 6,562 ft, rich in legends of witches. From the top station begins a pleasant walk in a landscape made of meadows, alpine huts and woods surrounded by the Dolomites. From here you can enjoy a view of the Odle, Seceda, Sassolungo, Sasso Piatto and Sciliar. After lunch in a mountain hut, you go back down to Ortisei, where you will have free time for a walk and to buy some objects or works of art in wood from a long and recognised tradition.
After going up the bends of the Sella Pass (2,218 m / 7,277 ft), continue towards Pordoi Pass (2,239 m / 7,346 ft), where if you want you can take the cable car that will take you to the summit of Sass Pordoi, at 2,950 m / 9,678 ft, to contemplate a sensational sight: the Marmolada, Sassolungo, Catinaccio and in the distance the Groups of the Ortles, of the Cevedale, till the Swiss and Austrian Alps.
Descent into Fassa Valley, and after crossing Canazei, a famous tourist resort, it's the turn of the Costalunga Pass (1,753 m / 5,751 ft), from where you can admire the majesty of the Catinaccio and Latemar. Stop on the shores of Lake Carezza or you can take the easy path that goes around it.
This alpine lake is admired for its different shades of green and turquoise and because the Latemar is reflected in it, creating a fairytale atmosphere.
Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.

Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent by post, fax or e-mail and are subject to the following penalties:
- No penalty for cancellations made up to 11 days prior to tour date;
- 25% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 10 and 7 days prior to tour date;
- 50% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 6 and 4 days prior to tour date;
- 100% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made within 3 days prior to tour date.
