Clothing and Equipment
Medium equipment: Hiking shoes, windproof jacket (preferably waterproof), fleece or light sweater, small rucksack with flask or water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Recommended: extendable trekking poles.
If the trip is planned in the colder seasons, it is recommended to have heavier clothing, woollen hat, and gloves with you. Keep also in mind that in the high mountains it can be cold even in summer and sudden changes in weather conditions are possible.

Itinerary
North of Bolzano, you cross the Gardena Valley in direction of Ortisei, where you will have free time for a walk in the centre and to do some woodwork shopping. Next stop is Sella Pass (2,218 m / 7,277 ft), which offers you a spectacle of impressive and austere beauty with the Sella massif on one side and the Sassolungo Group on the other. From here starts a pleasant and panoramic walk that leads you to the Rifugio Comici (2,154 m / 7,067 ft), located in one of the most beautiful places in the Dolomites, whose peculiarity as alpine hut is that, in addition to the Alpine cuisine, you can also taste marine specialties of the Italian cuisine.
You continue till Pordoi Pass (2,239 m / 7,346 ft), where you can take the cable car that in just 4 minutes will take you to the summit of Sass Pordoi, at 2,950 m / 9,678 ft, to contemplate the sensational spectacle of the Marmolada, Sassolungo and Catinaccio, and, in the distance, the Groups of the Ortles and of the Cevedale.
Descent into Fassa Valley, and after crossing Canazei, a famous tourist resort, it's the turn of the Costalunga Pass (1,753 m / 5,751 ft), from where you can admire the majesty of the Catinaccio, made famous by the legend of King Laurin. Stop on the shores of Lake Carezza famous for its different shades of green and turquoise. You can also take the easy path that goes around it. The lake is fed by the rains and snows of the Latermar, which is itself reflected in the lake.
Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.

Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent by post, fax or e-mail and are subject to the following penalties:
- No penalty for cancellations made up to 11 days prior to tour date;
- 25% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 10 and 7 days prior to tour date;
- 50% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 6 and 4 days prior to tour date;
- 100% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made within 3 days prior to tour date.
