Clothing and Equipment
Medium equipment: Hiking shoes, windproof jacket (preferably waterproof), fleece or light sweater, small rucksack with flask or water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Recommended: extendable trekking poles.
If the trip is planned in the colder seasons, it is recommended to have heavier clothing, woollen hat, and gloves with you. Keep also in mind that in the high mountains it can be cold even in summer and sudden changes in weather conditions are possible.

Itinerary
The first stop of this tour is Bressanone (40 km / 25 miles north of Bolzano). Bressanone is a small town rich in history and beauty, where the court nobility and the Prince Bishops have built splendid residences and a magnificent castle. Take your time to walk through the streets of the center among the medieval houses and to visit the Cathedral, the seat of cardinals, and to admire the beautiful frescoes of the Cloister located right next to the Cathedral.
Transfer to Sant’Andrea to take a cable car that takes you to the Plose in a few minutes, where you can take a pleasant walk at high altitude, up to the Rifugio Rossalm (2,200 m / 7,218 ft), with a magnificent view of the Dolomites; an extraordinary panorama on the Sass de Putia and the Odle, which will remain unforgettable.
A little further south of Bressanone, once you have descended into the valley, you take the Funes Valley until the charming village of Santa Maddalena. Here you will have the opportunity to photograph the village and its churches from different points of view but always with the spires of the Odle on the background. These images are the worthy conclusion of this spectacular tour.

Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent by post, fax or e-mail and are subject to the following penalties:
- No penalty for cancellations made up to 11 days prior to tour date;
- 25% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 10 and 7 days prior to tour date;
- 50% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made between 6 and 4 days prior to tour date;
- 100% of the total amount for trip for cancellations made within 3 days prior to tour date.
