Itinerary

This tour goes immediately into the most famous mountains of the Dolomites, in fact in Ega Valley you are already in front of the massifs of the Catinaccio and the Latemar. The first stop is at Lake Carezza; you can walk the easy path that goes around it or simply admire the different variations of green and turquoise colors of this alpine lake at the foot of the Latermar.
Stop also near the Costalunga Pass (1,753 m / 5,751 ft) to contemplate all the majesty of the Catinaccio. Crossing the Costalunga Pass, which marks the border between South Tyrol and Trentino, you descend into Fassa Valley.

Once you have crossed the valley, you have to face many hairpins bends to reach the Pordoi Pass (2,239 m / 7,345 ft), the destination of historic cycling feats of champions such as Fausto Coppi. At the Pass you will also have the opportunity to go up by cable car (at your discretion) to Sass Pordoi (2,950 m / 9,678 ft), where you can admire the Dolomites at 360°, including the Marmolada: The Queen of the Dolomites. Free lunch in a typical restaurant.
The Pordoi marks the border with Veneto; descending, you pass through the village of Arabba, a famous resort for summer and winter tourism. The road goes around the Sella massif, going over a new pass: the Campolongo (1,875 m / 6,152 ft).

After this pass you return to Trentino Alto Adige and precisely to Badia Valley, a Ladin basin kissed by the sun and dominated by rocky giants. Short photo stop in Corvara, another famous tourist resort, and then, again bends towards the spectacular Gardena Pass (2,136 m / 7,008 ft), a popular destination for sportsmen and one of the historic Dolomite passes of the Giro d'Italia.
Here begins the Gardena Valley with the characteristic South Tyrolean villages of Selva, Santa Cristina and Ortisei. In this latter village you can stop for a walk in the centre and for some woodwork shopping, objects of which it boasts a long and recognized tradition.

Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.
