Itinerary

For you who love mountains and want to enjoy their beauty calmly, here is the itinerary that will suit you and which progresses between the Dolomite mountains with numerous panoramic stops.
At Lake Carezza (1,520 m / 4,986 ft) you can admire the colors of this alpine lake or simply walk the easy path that goes around it.

Stop also near the Costalunga Pass (1,753 m / 5,751 ft) to contemplate all the majesty of the Catinaccio. Continue towards the charming Canazei, a famous tourist resort and known for its colorful houses, to reach the famous Pordoi Pass (2,239 m / 7,345 ft), the destination of historic cycling feats of champions such as Fausto Coppi (one of his monuments was erected right on the pass).

Stopping at the Falzarego Pass (2,117 m / 6,946 ft) is a must; it was the scene of bloody battles during First World War, and its trenches are a splendid testimony of this. If you want you can go up with the cable car to the Lagazuoi hut (2,752 m / 9,028 ft), take a walk at high altitude and admire the Dolomites at 360°, including the Marmolada, Mount Pelmo, Civetta and, further away, the Lagorai Chain.

After lunch your tour continues with a stop in Corvara, at the foot of the Sassonger, and at Gardena Pass (2,136 m /7,008 ft), the grandeur of whose peaks will not fail to leave you breathless.
At Ortisei you can stop for a walk in the centre and for some woodwork shopping, objects of which it boasts a long and recognized tradition.

Note: The program may change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, festive or seasonal closures of roads, museums, cable cars etc. In these cases, alternative solutions will be provided.
