Day 1: Participants arrive and settle into a hotel in Milan previously booked for you by Oiden Tour.

Day 2: Meet with tour conductor at hotel. Travelling through the Po Valley from Milan we will arrive at Langhirano, not far from Parma. Our first stop is in a winery which will offer an excellent combination of cold cuts with wine tasting. We will have lunch at the Torrechiara castle in an enviable position, which we can then visit. In the afternoon we will then stop in Parma. Probably attributed to the good food, this city is renowned for its high quality of life. We will stay on a farm in the area of Modena.

Day 3: We will stay in the area to visit a dairy which produces the famous “Parmegiano Reggiano” (Parmesan cheese). You will be surprised at the care that is taken to produce and mature this cheese that is appreciated world wide. Later on we will visit a place where vinegar is made. Balsamic vinegar of Modena is another symbol of Italian gastronomy. Lunch will be in a specially selected restaurant and then some free time to wander round the city of Bologna. With its arches, its towers and the friendliness of the people of the main city of Emilia you feel immediately welcome. We go back to our farm for the evening.

Day 4: This morning we will move to Piedmont. In about 3 hours we will reach Canelli. Lunch will be in a well known restaurant, also listed in the best restaurant guides of Italy and other countries. Great attention is given to the atmosphere and class. Not far from here we will be able to taste some Barolo, Barbaresco and above all, the famous sparking wines of Piedmont. A little time for a wander round Alba, a charming little city. We will stay in on a quiet farm in the area.

Day 5: More delicacies this morning. First a visit to a winery in the Barolo area and then stop in Cherasco the “city of chocolate” where there is the famous cake shop, “Barbero”. Lunch in a well known restaurant listed in the best restaurant guides. On our way back, we come to the Grinzano Cavour castle which has a museum and also has a wine shop. Set in stupendous position surrounded by vineyards. Stay in Turin. You are free to have dinner where you like.

Day 6: The last day of this varied tour will be dedicated to the Italian capital city of the car. In the morning you have a few free hours to visit places which interest you, we suggest the Egyptian museum. Then we go to “Eataly” in the Lingotto area. Here, you can purchase a vast array of gastronomic products of Bel Paese in a large and pleasant area. Back to Milan.
